Itinerary

Day 1Drive to Aqda

You’ll arrive in Tehran and drive to Naein to visit Jame mosque of Naein. Afterwards, we visit Pirnia traditional house and museum, Mohammadie neighborhood and workshops, driving to Aqda.

Day 2Full Day City Tour of Aqda

Exploring historical and spectacular neighborhoods of Aqda, tower, water supply, Carvansarai, Pars Banu Zoroastrian temple in the mountains.

Day 3Drive to Ardakan and Enjoying Natural and Historical Sights

We discover Pir-e Sabz Chak Chak Zoroastrian temple, Kharanaq citadel and historical neighborhood to enjoy its amazing ambiance and architecture, shaking minaret of Kharanaq, trekking in Zarin desert. Accomodation in Ardakan Eco lodge.

Day 4Visiting Meybod and Nain

Exploring the city of Meybod and its Yakhchal (ice house) an ancient type of evaporative cooler, fantastic pigeon’s tower, Narin castle, pottery and ceramic workshops, Ardeh shops in Ardakan and accommodation in Taft Eco lodge.

Day 5City Tour of Yazd

Today we explore historical part of the old city of Yazd that is recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, Amir Chakhmaq square where we can visit an amazing three storey, symmetric façade and sweet shops, water museum, Fahadan neighborhood, Alexander prison, Atigh mosque which is one of the most admirable mosques in Iran, and Dowlatabad garden to have some paradisiac moments. then drive to Taft to accommodate in Taft Eco lodge.

Day 6City Tour of Yazd and Drive to Tehran

On the last day we will visit tower of silence (Dakhme) which is a Zoroastrians cemetery and fire temple that Persians call it Atashkadeh which was built in 1934. This is the last place… we drive to Tehran. After arriving in Tehran, you’ll be transferred to the airport to fly back home.

I'm a solo traveler, is there a single supplement?

A single supplement is bookable on this trip, subject to availability at the time of booking. The price of the single supplement will be quoted at the time of booking.

What is the Iranian currency?

The Iranian currency is Iranian Rials (IRR). However it’s common by the locals to use Toman instead of Rials on daily business. Note that 1 Toman = 10 Rials. You should also note that International payment systems and bank cards are not available in Iran. So make sure to bring enough cash for your whole journey.

What are the weekdays in Iran?

States offices, administration, post office and banks are generally open from 7:30 – 12:00 and reopen after a lunch break until 16:00. Thursdays are working hours until 12:00, which might vary depending on the city or office.
Friday is weekend in Iran.

How can I get a visa?

For some nationalities a visa is required to enter Iran. A visa can be collected from the Iranian embassy or consulate in your country of residence or at the Iranian airports upon arrival. However, upon arrival visas are not available for the US, British and Canadian Citizens and a visa needs to be collected prior to Departure.

What is the cancellation policy?

If you cancel prior to 30 days from departure, your deposit will not be refunded. If you cancel 29 to 15 days before your departure date, 50% of your payment amount will be refunded. If you cancel 14 days before departure you will get no refund at all.
